Who we are

What we collect and why

• Booking details (name, email, phone, rental dates): needed to create and manage your booking and send you confirmations. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Rental waiver details (date of birth, nationality, passport/ID number, signature): needed for the rental agreement itself. These are kept for 12 months after the rental ends, then deleted automatically.
• Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• How you found us (the referring website or campaign link on your first visit): stored with your booking so we know which channels work. It contains no personal information beyond that.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you press Accept on our cookie banner, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, buttons clicked, and anonymised session replays that help us fix confusing parts of the booking flow. We don't run ads and we don't sell data.

If you press Decline, no analytics run at all. You can change your mind any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, the banner will ask again. We also use Vercel's cookieless, aggregate page statistics, which store nothing on your device.

Who processes data for us

Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure database hosting), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (website hosting), and PostHog EU (analytics, only with consent). Each processes data only on our instructions.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to processing, and take your data elsewhere. Email info@scootbansko.com and we'll act on it. You can also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (КЗЛД, cpdp.bg).
